A “tricky-tray” auction will be taking place on Saturday, October 25th at the show itself. Some of the items up for grabs include: an MTV-themed chest of goodies; two Virgin Mobile phones; a ski trip to Utah; a weekend in Vegas; CDs signed by the artist Pink, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bomber jacket and tickets to the Rock Hall museum; a horse gear basket; an Alex Hartner Family Tribute CD signed by all the performers; baskets and baskets of ACC sweatshirts; three racks of 50 CDs each from Sony Music; a Zune MP3 player; an MTV poker chip set; a video player; DVDs signed by Stacey Westfall of Westfall Horsemanship; four VIP season passes to the Hammerheads professional soccer games along with a team jersey and an autographed team photo; and the list keeps growing and goes on and on. Come on out and place a bid and help a kid go to college at the same time!!!

World-renowned jumper course designer Steve Stephens will be setting up the Alex Hartner Memorial Jumper course soon. He’ll be at the show too so come out and meet the man who also designed the course at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Alex’s cousin, Tracey Metzger will be performing the National Anthem. If you’ve never heard Tracey sing, you’re in for a treat!

We are pleased to announce that Frank Waters will be announcing some of the events. If you’ve ever watched an equestrian event on TV there’s a good chance you’ve heard Frank during the broadcast. Come and hear “the man with the velvet voice.”

If you’ve never been to a horse show in your life, this is the one you’ll want to attend. Besides enjoying the majesty of the 500 to 600 horses that will be at the show, there is also fun for the whole family with face-painting and temporary tattoos for the kids, horse and buggy rides for the kids at heart, and good eats and drinks for everyone.
