The Horse Show and Auction will be held at the Lake Waccamaw Boys & Girls Home Exhibition Center
in Lake Waccamaw, NC 29450

Some of the auction items (noted below) go on eBay beginning October 17th running through October 27th until 11 pm EST.

All proceeds will benefit both the SAPC Equestrian Scholarship Fund & the Topsail High School Scholarship Fund.

This mint condition “Celebrity” Ovation guitar was donated by Alex Hartner’s brother Zeke to help raise money for the scholarships set up in Alex’s name. It was signed at the opening of the Hard Rock Theme Park by all four members of the Eagles: Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmitt. Pictured here is Alex’s brother Zeke with Don Henley holding this one of a kind guitar. A special thanks to Don for coordinating the effort.

This is one of two CDs donated by the Edge, guitarist for the legendary band, U2. A friend of the Hartner’s, Brian Ennis hand carried the CDs back with him from a trip to Ireland. The CD is a special edition from Edge’s personal collection and contains one of the band’s biggest hits, “Vertigo.” Special thanks to the Edge, Brian and Ned O’Hanlon for making this happen.

Number 116 out of 500 total limited edition lithographs released in conjunction with Rush’s “Snakes and Arrows” CD and DVD. But for fans of the band, what makes this one really special is that it has been signed by Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart, all three members of this seminal rock band. This amazing book has been donated by Graham Nash, of solo and CSN (and sometimes Y) fame. “Off the Record, Songwriters on Songwriting” contains 25 of the world’s most celebrated songs with comments from the songwriters themselves. “American Woman,” “Dock of the Bay,” “What a Wonderful World,” and “Our House” are just a few of the featured songs in this collection. Graham is so nice he signed it twice…Once on the cover and once inside the book with a special inscription, “Buy me and help out, Thanks, Graham Nash.” Thanks to you Graham, you are the best! The book also contains 2 audio CDs that are narrated by Graham. The family of Alex Hartner is very excited that the book also contains Alex’s favorite song, “You are My Sunshine.”
